Dr. Junior, owner and chiropractor at Chiro Studio, one of the most common things we see walking in through our office is people with poor posture, their shoulders are rounded , and their head is out forward causing an intense amount of pain and stress right at the base of the skull and in between the shoulder blades.
What we commonly recommend for these patients to do after they get adjusted is the doorway stretch. You’re gonna start off with your fingertips head height. Your foot is gonna be at the entrance of the door and you’re gonna step through the door, leaning into the stretch. As you look up, you should be feeling this right at the Peck miner.
I want you to hold that stretch for 30 seconds and perform it six times a day. The next thing I want you to do is your chin contractions. You’re gonna stand neutral, tuck the chin back and look up going back to neutral tuck. Chin back and look up. You’re gonna perform this exercise for 10 to 15 reps. Six times a day.
