So this one’s pec minor, bicep tendon, and AC joint. This is a very common injury, and then the way you find it, usually you take your finger right at the AC joint, you roll it, and you’ll feel like, almost like a guitar string, right there. And it’s going to be super tender, so that lets you know that all three are involved.
Pec minor, if you push it and strum down, you see how his body’s jumping? Look right there, it makes the shoulder raise, because all this is, it’s just a complex, you have to treat all three muscles. Or all three areas. Let’s get the,
So for this, You’re gonna get the pec minor, AC joint, typically you put on as a circle, And then bicep tendon, you have to have your thumb out, So that it exposes the bicep tendon. This area bruises pretty bad. Especially on him, like he has a lot of damage. And usually the more damage you have, The more it’s gonna bruise.
This is where I have to get work done all the time. The most common one that I get done. I get this done at least once a week.
I keep re injuring it, because I’ll go bench heavy, and I never give it a chance to actually recover. I know exactly what I’m doing wrong. And you should not have to do this once a week. So, I’m gonna come from pec minor,
pull it towards me, you’ll feel it jump right away. Goes right up to AC joint like I said, circle. Usually a circle where it started with the AC joint. I keep my finger right on the clavicle so I know where I’m working, and then bicep tendon, strum down towards the bicep, and try to make sure you’re grabbing it.
I stopped doing the circle because we have this area that’s jumping. I won’t be able to grip it. The easiest way to do it is grab a hold of the clavicle. Start at the clavicle and pull it down, crossing to the bicep tendon. This way, like I was, it’s jumping. You see right there. See that, right? Jumping a little less. It’s still jumping, but it’s stay here.
Sometimes what I do is I put a lot of pressure down, and then with the opposite hand I glide it towards me. That way I don’t lose the pressure downwards,
I can get it to move across the muscle. Using these fingers here, hard pulling it towards me, as I’m digging into the tendon and the muscle above it.
See, look. See how that bruised up right there? Right there.
Could have done a little bit more in the bicep tendon. I’m actually gonna do a little bit more for him. I didn’t treat the bicep tendon, as much as I’d like to. So let’s zero it up. And then don’t make that call on y’all. I’m treating it so I know for a fact that I didn’t deliver enough dose and that I could do better for him.
And I also know his body. Because the reason I can tell is
because the bruise stopped as soon as I got to the bicep tendon. And now you can see the bruise is spreading into his bicep.
That’s how easy that was. I didn’t place too much pressure at all. Good. Good. Now I’m happy with it.
